"I LOVE FALL!" Tag

Let's get right to it!!

FAVORITE FALL LIP PRODUCT:

I have 3 favorite lip products - Revlon's Matte lipstick in the shade "Fabulous Fig", Clinique's Almost Lipstick in "Black Honey", and Jack Black's Lipbalm in Lemon & Chamomile.

"Fabulous Fig" is the perfect warm deep red shade...my go to red for Fall.
"Black Honey" is a sheer but buildable deep purple shade. On the lips it provides a berry toned tint that can be sheer or you can build it up to be more opaque.
The Lemon & Chamomile lip balm by Jack Black is my holy grail lip balm and necessity because during this time of the year my lips start to get extremely dry. This lip balm is ahhhmazing  because it is moisturizing, lasts a good 2 to 3 hours on my lips, and is not sticky or goopy.


FAVORITE FALL NAIL POLISH:

Again, I have three picks (there was no way for me to pick just one!) - Revlon's "Naughty", OPI's "Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window", and Nails inc's "Hampstead Gardens".

"Naughty" by Revlon is a murky, gray-toned, deep purple shade with a lighter purple sheen that is opaque in 2 to 3 coats and lasts the average 3 to 4 days without chipping and with the proper base and top coat.
"Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window" by OPI is the perfect olive green and my default shade for Fall...I love love love this shade (basically if I had to pick one...this one would be it).
"Hampstead Gardens" by nails inc. is a new favorite. It's a mustard-toned, warm, pumpkin orange-ish shade (if that makes any sense) and can be opaque in one coat (but I always use two coats out of habit). This shade reminds me of the warm golden tone that is in the coloring of some leaves this time of year and it reminds me of pumpkin pie (yummmm). I have medium-toned skin and I find this shade looks great on me.

FAVORITE FALL STARBUCKS DRINK:

I'm a hot chocolate girl through and through.

FAVORITE FALL CANDLE:

My favorites are two candles that are released in the Bath and Body Works Fall collection of candles - Slatkin & Co.'s Autumn Day & Mahogany Teakwood.

Autumn Day is described as "A crisp, autumn medley celebrating the changing seasons and the beauty of the harvest with notes of fresh cut cedar, juicy fig and sandalwood" - I would describe it as a sweet, warm, fresh scented candle.
Mahogany Teakwood is described as "A refreshing blend of sandalwood and citrus, with highlights of cedar, oak and the essence of mahgony" - the first time I took a whiff of this candle my exact words were "this smells like men's cologne" and recently it's been described as smelling like Abercrombie & Fitch (which is true). Now I would describe it as a men's cologne scent that is warm, woodsy, and refreshing.

FAVORITE FALL ACCESSORY:

I have two accessories that I have gotten the most use out of so far this Fall - my brown scarf with red & purple stripes running through it which is from Forever21 + my House of Harlow look-alike geometric necklace (I prefer wearing gold during the Fall b/c again, I think it goes better with the season - the color of the leaves, Thanksgiving etc).

HAUNTED HOUSE, HAUNTED HAY RIDE, OR HAUNTED CORN MAZE?:

I haven't been on a Haunted Hay Ride or in a Haunted Corn Maze, but I'm always afraid of getting lost in the maze so I have to go with Haunted Hay Ride!

FAVORITE HALLOWEEN MOVIE:

I am one of those crazy people who like scary movies! So, I'm going to pick the original "Nightmare on Elm Street"...the first time I ever watched it was on Halloween and I was scared out of my mind, but it's definitely my favorite scary movie!!

My favorite not-really-scary movie, but definitely for Halloween is "The Nightmare Before Christmas"...it is the movie that started my love of Tim Burton movie.

FAVORITE CANDY TO EAT ON HALLOWEEN:

Halloween themed candy? Candy Corn.
Any Candy? Three Musketeers.

WHAT ARE YOU DRESSING UP AS ON HALLOWEEN?:

I don't dress up too often. I didn't dress up this year...I was sick :( If I did dress up it would probably be something masquerade related or if I was really into getting dressed up....a Tardis (or something else related to Doctor Who or another tv show!).

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT FALL:

I love the change in weather, and the changing of the leaves which is particularly beautiful if you live in a neighborhood with a lot of trees. I love being able to start dressing warmer with my coats and scarves and boots. I love the new make up collections that come out and being able to try new things. I love Thanksgiving and mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie!! I just love Fall...it's my favorite season...I love everything it brings with it : )
